These Terms and Conditions govern all travel services provided by Maple and Mara Adventures, whether booked via our website (www.mapleandmaraadventures.com)
or directly through our travel advisors. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Individual Booking: 1–9 travellers.
Group Booking: 10 or more travellers under a single itinerary.
Customer / You: Any person using Maple and Mara Adventures services.
Flights, SGR tickets, event tickets (e.g., F1, concerts): Full payment required at booking.
Accommodation & Packages: Minimum 25% deposit at booking; full payment due at least 7 days before domestic travel, 14 days before international travel.
Customized/Group Packages: Payment schedule provided at booking.
Payment Methods: Bank transfer, M-Pesa, credit/debit card, or cash.
Service fees may apply for visa assistance, flight bookings, document processing, or other administrative services and will be communicated before service provision.
Maple and Mara Adventures provides visa assistance as facilitators only. Visa approval and entry are at the discretion of embassies and immigration authorities. Visa fees are non-refundable.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Customers are responsible for arranging insurance covering health, cancellations, loss, or disruptions. Maple and Mara Adventures can assist in sourcing insurance but is not liable for claims.
Possess valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel documents.
Comply with travel advisories, check-in requirements, and destination-specific health protocols.
Over 30 days before travel: Full refund (excluding non-refundable services).
16–30 days: 30% cancellation fee.
8–15 days: 50% cancellation fee.
7 days: 100% cancellation fee.
Notes:
Some packages are fully non-refundable.
Flight cancellations follow airline rules.
Refund processing may take 30–45 working days.
Administrative fees may apply for amendments or cancellations.
Amendments must be requested in writing at least 7 days (domestic) or 14 days (international) before travel. Approval is subject to supplier policies and availability.
Maple and Mara Adventures is not liable for disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest. Alternative arrangements will be offered when possible.
Maple and Mara Adventures acts as an intermediary between customers and suppliers. We are not responsible for injury, loss, delays, or disruptions caused by third parties or external factors.
All content (website, itineraries, promotions) is protected. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Complaints must be raised within 30 days after service. Unresolved disputes are settled by arbitration under Kenyan law.
Personal data is collected and processed according to Kenya’s Data Protection Act (2019) and our Privacy Policy. Using our services constitutes consent.
Maple and Mara Adventures may update these Terms. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the latest version.
We strive for accuracy but may correct errors in descriptions, pricing, or availability. Maple and Mara Adventures is not liable for third-party changes or inaccuracies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
